The USPS Alfaya Branch in Orlando has canceled my mail service because I complain about unprofessional and illegal behavior of USPS employees.

Audio and video recording of the following incident is available.

On March 31, 2026 at 3:00 PM my regular mail carrier Regina arrived at my property and parked at the far end of the driveway near the road, approximately 150 feet from the front door. She is the only carrier that does not park closer to the house. The pickup request I always submit has ring doorbell/knock on front door. This carrier refuses to do this so I have to watch out my window for her from noon until she picks up, sometimes as late as 7:00 PM. She then refuses to carry the mail bin back to her truck and I end up having to carry the bin myself 150 feet where she scans the packages. I am somewhat disabled due to a total hip replacement from a bad fall so carrying heavy packages this far is very painful. On this day and time she sat in her truck for about 5 minutes. Usually she will come to the door, knock very lightly on the door and quickly walk back to her truck. By the time I can get the front door opened she is already at her truck so I have to carry the mail bin myself 150 feet to her truck where she scans the packages. She can't even wait 30 seconds for me to get to the front door to open it. Many times she does not knock or ring the door bell at all. She just comes to the front porch then turns around and goes back to her truck to leave. I have begged her numerous times to please ring the doorbell or knock on the door. Her reply is always the same.. quote "I forgot".

After sitting in the driveway for about 5 minutes she started pulling away so I opened the door and yelled for her to stop and unbeknownst to me one of my Labrador retriever dogs was laying by the front door waiting on me to let him in. He did not bark at her. He was just waiting quietly and calmly for me to let him in. I had forgotten that I had let him out to relieve himself. I motioned him in, closed the front door and motioned and called for Regina to come get the mail. She refused even though the dog was inside and the front door was closed. Instead of waiting in my driveway for 5 minutes while my dog was sitting by my door she could have simply blown her horn and I would have opened the door and realized the dog was there and gotten him inside the house.

Another carrier pulled up with an express package for me which I signed for and sat inside the house. I asked him what Regina was doing he said I don't know. I yelled for Regina again to come get the mail bin. Again she refused. The other carrier took the bin to the back of her truck and sat it down about 4 feet directly behind her right rear wheel. He began scanning the packages. Regina started backing up and I had to pull the bin and move myself away quickly to avoid being hit by her truck. She DID NOT blow the horn when she put the vehicle in reverse which is required as per USPS safety policy. Due to my condition I cannot move fast but I was able to get out of the way to avoid being hit. The other carrier who was scanning my packages at the time had to move also. I am sure he did not mention this detail to his supervisor as it appears my mail service has been canceled.

At 3:13 PM I called the local station and talked to the supervisor Regina and told her what happened. She assured me that the carrier would ring the door and/or knock on the doorbell. Regina the supervisor has my phone number and my email address. She has communicated with me via both methods. The station has a caller id for screening calls.

Well not only did the carrier not knock on my door the next day for pickup she skipped my house entirely. Instead of the supervisor telling the carrier to follow the instructions on the pickup request she decided to cancel my mail service completely.

As of April 1rst 7:00 PM my mail has not been picked up despite a pickup request being submitted (reference request # WEC716483236). I did see Regina drive by my house and deliver mail to everyone but me earlier. Despite the manager Regina having both my email and phone number I have not been contacted and told my mail service has been cancelled. This has resulted in many packages being late to be mailed.

After I saw Regina skip my house I called the station manager multiple time but nobody ever answered. I can only speculate that they were ignoring my calls. If my mail service has been cancelled the professional thing to do would be to notify me in advance, not just skip my mail pickup and ignore my phone calls.

There are other incidents of unprofessional and criminal conduct by carriers from this station that I have retained video and audio evidence of, including a USPS employee making false reports to law enforcement and a video recording of a USPS employee stealing mail. I respectfully request that someone from the Inspector General's Office contact me to review these recordings. sales at precolumbian dot com

In the past when I had numerous similar issues with the USPS I met with who was then my Senator Marco Rubio's office in an effort to get some help with all my USPS problems. I showed them a thick stack of papers of all the issues I was having. Within days Senator Rubio opened a Congressional Investigation and pretty much right away all the USPS Managers who had ignored, laughed, and ridiculed me began calling me assuring me they would fix the issues. They did fix the issues right away and I am grateful. I learned real fast that going up the USPS chain of command is a waste of time.
